Orders Page Improvements to Manage Order Types, Splits, & Exceptions 🌎

To help you work more efficiently and find key information faster, we’ve redesigned the Orders page based on direct feedback from our merchants. With the new experience, you can: 

  • Get clear insights into order splits for large D2C or B2B orders and track their progress in real time. 
  • Customize your orders and shipments views to highlight what matters most to you. 
  • Use enhanced filters and a cleaner layout to quickly locate orders. 
  • Include more data in order exports like order tags, store details, and tracking URLs. 

This upgraded experience will soon become the default Orders Page view.

Starting in June, we will support products with multiple barcodes, improving accuracy and efficiency across every stage of fulfillment, especially for complex or high-SKU catalogs. By making barcode scanning a reliable checkpoint at receiving, picking, shipping, and more, we can prevent errors and order exceptions, while enabling faster, more consistent fulfillment.

Zone Skipping & TrackBob 🇺🇸  

ShipBob can now zone skip eligible US domestic orders that flow through our middle-mile network. This is the result of significant investments into our order and transportation management technology, including enhancements to order routing, sortation, package-level visibility, and tracking to deliver a best-in-class delivery experience.   

Qualifying orders headed to the same region are consolidated onto a truck and skip over intermediate zones for faster, more reliable delivery with less risk of damage. To start, orders that are eligible for zone skipping are domestic standard orders originating from ShipBob’s US locations and imported from Shopify, ShipStation, our public API or manually created in ShipBob. 

And because ShipBob manages more of the order journey, zone-skipped orders come with TrackBob, an enhanced tracking page that provides deeper visibility and additional order statuses for you and your customers.

ShipBob’s new DDP integration with Passport helps you offer a frictionless cross-border shipping experience to your customers. Duties and taxes are calculated at checkout, so shoppers enjoy transparent pricing and avoid customs delays or surprise fees at delivery.  

With Passport’s tax, duty, and VAT compliance support and localized checkout experience, you can confidently convert more international shoppers and grow into new markets with ease. Now available for international orders originating in the US.

ShipBob’s early access program for units of measure allows you to associate up to four units of measure – each, inner case, master case, and pallet – under a single SKU, with support to merge existing SKUs into one unified listing. Additionally, a new SKU configuration view is available in the Product Catalog to give greater visibility into how your products are structured upon arrival from your manufacturer.

ShipBob Logistics has been great for us. Rather than having to sort every DTC package by carrier and service ourselves, everything goes into one bin and ShipBob picks it up, brings it to their facility, and sorts it there. It’s saved us enormous amounts of time and effort, and I don’t have to go back and forth with carriers all the time, or worry about whether they’ll have enough trucks, or if their trucks are too full, or if they’ll have to come back again to get another shipment. It’s been really great to hand off that aspect of logistics to ShipBob

When we were only shipping from our Miami, FL warehouse, it would take us 25 days to deliver an order to a customer in the EU, while using ShipBob’s UK fulfillment center, it takes only 3 days. ShipBob was amazing during peak season. They did a really great job keeping up with demand and scaling quickly to handle our DTC orders. And it was a good thing they did; our B2B business was significantly higher this peak than in past years, and our team was already straining to handle that volume.
